The Trinity Teaching School Alliance is a partnership of primary and secondary schools working together collaboratively to support a culture of self-improvement across Yorkshire and the Humber. The designated teaching school is Trinity Academy Halifax, an Ofsted outstanding provider.
The TTSA is headed by Director of Teaching School David Kirk. David is a former award winning head teacher and educational consultant, bringing extensive expertise to the Teaching School and the institutions it supports.
Highbury School is one of 14 strategic partners working within the TTSA.
Strategic Partners are a core part of the TTSA, overseeing and supporting development and ensuring that the range of services offered meet the needs of schools.
Highbury School have so far contributed to the development of the TTSA by hosting student teachers in school and offering a range of training which has included; understanding dyslexia, managing behaviour which challenges, including pupils with hearing impairment in the classroom and differentiation and access strategies.
