Heartbeat of Sport
On Friday the 15th February the charity Heartbeat of Sport came into school. The UK charity is based in Elland, West Yorkshire it was formed in October 2012 by local businessman Tony Abbott and focuses on one main goal, to reduce the number of Sudden Cardiac Arrests (SCA’S) that happen in sports and the sporting community. They have kindly agreed to promote fund raising for a portable defibrillator machine for our school and possibly assist with training all staff in First Aid.
